Mrs. Hays Has a Heart of Gold

Mrs. Hays is a Biology and Chemistry teacher at Tolleson Union High School.  She has made her class a calm and fun environment with her personality and teaching methods.

Q: Why did you decide to teach at Tolleson?

A: “I love hanging out with students. I love science and had really bad science teachers in high school and wanted to give students a different experience. Tolleson was my first choice. I love the students here and the different opportunities you get.”

Q: What is your pet peeve of teaching?

A: “Talking, phones.”

Q: How do you like your classroom in the new building?

A: “I love it!”
