Ms. Anderson Gets Real about Pet Peeves, Fall Break, and Teaching

Ms. Anderson is an amazing history teacher here at Tolleson Union High School. Today, she told us  a little bit about her experience as a teacher and what she did over fall break.

Q: Have you always wanted to be a teacher or was it something spontaneous?

A: ” I decided I wanted to be a teacher my sophomore year of high school. Everyone in my family was a teacher.  At first I wanted to be a science teacher, but found a love for history.”

Q: What was your favorite thing about fall break?

A: “I got to pet a cow. Their tongues are weird.”

Q: What’s your pet peeve about fellow teachers?

A: “When they break the copier machine.”

Q: What advice would you give to your younger self?

A: ” Stop caring what other people think.  At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter.”
